I hope you’re keeping well during this trying time.
I attended a meeting at Dartford Borough Council chaired by the leader Cllr Jeremy Kite. Dartford Borough Council are looking to set up a platform of trusted partner agencies from across the board including health, faith, local government, police and voluntary community organisations to share updates and information in real time with the communities of Dartford. Further work will be taking place on this over the coming days and as you will appreciate this is a very fast moving situation so I am sure as the initiative develops, its aims may evolve.
I know that many members of the Crayford Mosque are Dartford residents and as such, I feel it is important that the Mosque is involved.  This is a very important time where we should be looking to provide support for vulnerable members of our society. I would appreciate if you could share this message with members of your congregation.
At this stage Cllr Jeremy Kite’s idea is that the Dartford Together platform is used to share out current information including the status for example, of organisations and services that are still available and support that could be provided by organisations such as ours during this time.
Best wishes,
