Like most other organisations and groups NWKMA have been planning how to respond to COVID-19 – we have formed a support group to assist the local community who are affected by the crisis.

Volunteers are likely to assist the community in the following ways:

• Reaching out to people in the community and providing information and advice
• Online Tutoring to children who are now at home as a result of the school closures.
• Providing a friendly phone call service to help people that may be isolated or lonely.
• Picking up shopping for those that can’t do it easily themselves or those who are self isolating.
• Posting mail
• Delivering Food

We asking anyone interested in volunteering to register so as we are trying to map skills, qualifications and experience so that we can then coordinate on how best volunteers might be able to support the local community.

Your data will be kept secure and will only be shared within NWKMA and the support group.
