Twin Employment and Training have an exciting opportunity to promote as they have been given government funding to offer a free online accredited ESOL and Literacy Teacher Training course based on the Ascentis Level 3 ESOL and Literacy Teacher Training qualification.   

The course would be suitable for ESOL teachers, volunteers and teaching assistants. The aim is to

• improve the quality of teaching right across the spectrum
• help non-native speakers back into work
• assist with teacher training
• upskill any current employees

The Ascentis Teacher Training Level 3 Qualification is widely accepted and would improve the teacher's prospects of finding employment within this sector.

Therefore, if you know any teachers, volunteers or teaching assistants who require further training, I would appreciate you passing on the information.  The main proviso being that the candidate is earning £21,000 or under.

The training will help to:  

1. Build your confidence as a teacher

2. Adapt materials for different learner levels

3. Address issues for lower-level learners and those with literacy issues

4. Integrate low-level technology in your lessons
