Assalamualaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu

Dear brothers and sisters,

As you know the government announced yesterday that the country will be in full lockdown again, as far as we understand,  places of worship can remain open and communal prayers can continue with some conditions. With regards to Masjid Abu Bakar ( Crayford Masjid) we will remain open inshallah, doors will open 15 minutes before each prayer and after jamat finishes we will lock the door.

On Fridays we will continue Jumuah prayers  but try to shorten kutbah etc.

May I request to our musallis who have any health issues please do not come the masjid and pray at home.

And elderly musallis think very seriously about your health and age and whether it is worth risking, when prayers can be done at home.

We pray to Allah the Almighty to protect the humanity and believers from the pandemic, lots of our beloved brothers and sisters of our community and beyond are affected and suffering from Covid, may Allah bless them give them shifa kaamilah and Sabar jamil Wallahul mustaan
