The opening of the mosque is conditional upon the requirements set out below. We will continue to monitor the situation as well as follow government guidelines.
We have noted that many brothers are not following the guidelines set out below. I.e not wearing mask or socks etc
If any worshippers are infected with the virus then the Council will check CCTV to see if guidelines were being followed, failure may result in the closure of the mosque, therefore we request that EVERYONE follows the Guidelines and Instructions set out below before attending for prayers at the Mosque:
Doors will open 15 minutes before each prayer and closed immediately after each prayer.
Please bring your own prayer mat.
You must wear socks at all times.
Use the Alcohol free sanitiser where available, particularly when you enter the Masjid.
Avoid close contact with others, no handshakes or hugging.
Only congregational prayers should be done at the Mosque. Please do your Sunnah & Nafl prayers at home where possible
Do not bring children under 12 with you, they should pray at home.
Please do not attend the masjid if you or a family member in your household have:
A NEW CONTINUOUS COUGH,
A HIGH TEMPERATURE,
NEW LOSS OF TASTE OR SMELL,
ANY OTHER SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19, A
RECENT POSITIVE TEST
You must wear a face covering or mask at all times and ensure that your nose and mouth is covered.
Bring an empty bag to carry your shoes in.
Toilet and Wudu facilities will not be available, therefore please do Wudu at home or at your work place.
You must maintain social distance of at least 1 metre from others at all times.
No gatherings inside or outside the mosque. As soon as prayer is finished you should leave the Masjid.
To manage the risk and capacity, the Masjid remains closed for sisters until further notice.
We recommend that over 70s should not attend the masjid and pray at home.
Please give others space and respect our volunteers and staff and follow their instructions. Our capacity has been reduced, please be patient as we try to accommodate everyone.
